While Copper Chimney has earned itself quite a name in the past few decades, I was thrilled when it opened closer to home! Recently visited their Seawoods outlet, which is located on the 3rd floor of Seawoods Grand Central Mall.

Keeping in mind the current scenario, the restaurant staff is taking considerable precautions and following every possible safety protocol. Mandatory temperature checks and surface sanitization is done on a regular basis. The see-through kitchen area was another reassuring way to determine that there is contact-less cooking. The staff wore gloves, masks & safety gears at all times. Moreover, the plates and cutlery were well-sanitised and neatly packed in kits to promote a maximum contactless experience. Our first dine-in experience post the lockdown indeed felt very safe!

With regards to the F&B at Copper Chimney, their recipes are truly original, exclusive; and the food depicts a rich sense of our Indian culture.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Fish & Mixed Meats Plate, as it contained an assortment of Tandoori Fish Tikka, Reshmi Kebab, Bhatti Murgh and Mutton Seekh. The portion size was extremely nice, with 3 large to medium sized pieces of each item.

For main course, we had the Lasooni Corn Palak with Butter Roomali Roti. Absolutely loved each bite of it! The Rotis were super soft and clad with butter, while the Lasooni Corn Palak has a rich, creamy gravy texture with hints of fried garlic and tender corn kernels.

The Tawa Chicken Biryani is also a great option to consider for main course. The lovely aroma and taste of the Biryani was irresistible, although a bit more masala would’ve been desirable for it to be moist.

At present the restaurant isn’t serving alcohol, but you must try their vivid range of fruity margaritas. We loved the Kiwi Margarita a lot, for its sweet & tangy flavour.

Having dined at most restaurants at the mall, I can truly vouch for Copper Chimney’s food to be the most exquisite. Their unique recipes and variety in dishes simply sets them apart from other restaurants. I’d highly recommend everyone to visit Copper Chimney.
