We indulged in these rich flavors of Thailand with a menu carefully curated and presented by Chef Jarunun from Bangkok who specialises in authentic, fusion Thai cuisine.
This ten day long festival will consist some of the mesmerizing Thai appetizers, Live Counters, Salad section, Main Course & a lavish Dessert spread.
Bean Sprout Salad
We were greeted with a welcome drink called as ‘Tai Chi’, a mocktail which consisted of Pineapple and fresh Coconut flavors. Then, gorged on to some delectable glass Noodles with Seaweed Clear Soup, a few mouthwatering salads, pan seared Tofu from the Live counter.
The dessert section consisted of 7 authentic Thai Gourmet Desserts, which had Coconut as a basic ingredient paired with chocolates, fruits or fresh cream.
Our best picks from the Buffet-
  1. Tom Yum Gai Soup (Chicken in lemongrass, kaffirlime & galangal)
  2. Khao Phod Tod (Corn Cake with sweet Chilli dip)
  3. Thod Mun Phak (Vegetable Cake with Plum sauce)
  4. Tow Hu Sate (Pan seared Tofu with Peanut sauce)
  5. Bean Sprout Salad
  6. Thai Herbs Salad
  7. Thai Chicken Pate
  8. Asian Glass Noodles Salad
  9. Litchi Pastry
  10. Dragon Fruit cake
Fresh Fruits Salad
“It’s just a few basic ingredients, but freshness and balance are extremely important in Thai Food. Ingredients used in the right proportion and at the right time can change the character of a dish. In the case of Thai Cuisine, these words come to mind- intricacy, texture, color and taste which perfectly describe the dishes on this menu.”, says Chef Jarunun an award winning Chef with over 14 years of experience working with some well-known restaurants and food festivals across Thailand & other countries.
