Hey there! Welcome to The Hungry Cancerian. Here’s a little about me, before I take you through a virtual tour of my food journey:

My name is Kiran Bathija. I'm 25 years old and currently based out of Navi Mumbai, India. My day job involves working with one of the leading Insurance companies of the country. I have done my Masters in Finance, and currently pursuing a Chartered degree as a Financial Analyst.

I hold a keen interest in art & photography. Also, on most weekends, you’d find me hooked to a book or binge-watching online series. Beer & coffee are two big moods for me.

I'm a BIG foodie, and food has always been a major characteristic of my life. Being raised in a Sindhi family, I've always had the perks of enjoying good food as my Granny and Mom are great cooks.
These ladies have played a vital role for my interest in cooking!

The name "The Hungry Cancerian" is derived from a combination of the good appetite I have, and my zodiac sign.
Through this blog, I want to make people aware of all the good spots to eat in and around Mumbai or whichever city/ country I have ever been to. Also, I assure you to provide the best of recipes known to me till date.
